The goal is to run a comprehensive EE program with at least 4 schools in Pendas/ Gelang Patah area – primary & secondary (more if possible) that will span a year each.

Objectives

· To create an awareness of Malaysia’s marine assets amongst Malaysian children – especially those living by the sea (whether coastal or island children)

· To encourage an appreciation for our marine, coastal and island heritage and its importance to our future

· To teach local children skills that will enable them to protect and conserve their environment

· To empower local children with knowledge and skills so that they believe that they can make a difference in the protection and conservation of their village, coastline or island’s natural environment

· To guide children and youth towards actively protecting and conserving their marine ecosystem
